Essentially, the KVPY exam is a national level scholarship program up to Pre-Ph.D level, which is organized by IISc Bangalore annually. Looking At The Eligibility

Candidates must score a minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) in Mathematics and Science subjects (PCB) in Class 12th. The KVPY Exam Pattern

All the questions are compulsory to attempt in stream SA. There is an option to attempt any three sections in Part I & any two sections in Part II in Stream SB/SX. The total duration of the paper is 3 hours, and the maximum marks are 100.
The question paper contains two sections: Part I & Part II, having four sections each. In Part I of both the Streams, one mark will be awarded for correct responses and 0.25 marks will be deducted for an incorrect response.
