CBSE, NEET, JEE Mains, JEE Advance exams 2021: Important Information, Final Datasheet, and Timetable

While lakhs of students of Class 10, 12 of CBSE, and CISCE are awaiting the release of the final datasheet, timetables of several entrance exams have been released by the government. CBSE 10th Boards

Lakhs of students of Class 10, 12 of CBSE, and CISCE are waiting for the release of the final date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2021. A few days ago, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced that the exam schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE board exams 2021 will be announced on February 2. On the other hand, the CISCE is yet to announce the date for the release of the date sheet for Class 10 and 12 board Exams. Apart from board exams, the Centre has also declared the dates of a few entrance exams.

On December 31, during a live Facebook session, the Union education Minister announced that CBSE board exams would be held from May 4 to June 10, 2021. He added that the board would soon release a final date sheet for the exams. The results for class 10 and 12 would be released by the board on July 15, 2021, announced the minister.

JEE Mains 2021

Just a few weeks ago, it was announced by Union Minister Pokhriyal that Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2021 will be conducted in four sessions in February, March, April, and May starting from February 23 to 26, 2021. According to the minister, the next sessions of the exam will take place between March 15-18, April 27-30, and May 24-38.

The admit card of the JEE Main 2021 is likely to be released next week at the official website–jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per the notification released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in January, JEE Main 2021 admit card shall be expected in the second week of February. All those candidates who have registered to appear in JEE Main 2021 February exam will be able to download their JEE Main admit card 2021 for using their application number and date of birth/password.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “JEE Main 2021 Admit Card” link.

Step 3: Key in your application number and Date of Birth/Password.

Step 4: JEE Main 2021 admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the JEE admit card and take its printout for future reference.

JEE Advance 2021

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced will be conducted on July 3, 2021.

NEET 2021

While the Union Education Minister announced the exam dates for the JEE Main, there is no official update on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021 exam date.  The NEET 2021 application form is not yet released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). There is no confirmation about releasing of the application form. As per the sources, the application form will get released soon. An application form will be released through online mode by the officials.

 NEET 2021, as per the exam pattern, will be conducted for 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The Physics and Chemistry sections of NEET 2021 will have equal weightage with 45 multiple choice questions each, and the Biology section will comprise 90 questions. The total marks for NEET 2021 is 720.

As per the Ministry of Education, “The syllabus of JEE and NEET will remain the same as the previous year.” However, in view of the reduction of the board exam syllabus by several state boards and CBSE as well, the NEET UG 2021 question paper might also have options on the lines of JEE Main.

To ace NEET 2021, candidates need to get acquainted with the NEET marking scheme 2021. As per the NEET 2021 exam pattern, aspirants of the medical entrance test must score above the NEET 2021 cut-off to get shortlisted for the NEET admission process.

  • Candidates will score four marks for each correct answer in NEET
  • For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted
  • No negative marks will be cut for unattempted questions

NEET 2021 Score = (Correct Answers X 4) – (Incorrect Answers X 1)

As per the NEET 2020 Eligibility criteria, Candidates must be at least 17 years and not more than 25 years as on or before the 31st December of year that year. However, the authority has provided the relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD Candidates.

Candidates must have passed or appeared in 12th class from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects from any recognized board. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the 12th class examination for the general category, 40% marks for SC/ST or OBC, and 45% for PWD category candidates to be eligible for the examination.
